Annual Spring Faculty and Administrator Conferences Scheduled
Igniting the Future.
The Pennsylvania Association of Practical Nursing Administrators will be hosting their Annual Spring Conferences May 9-11 at the Best Western Country Cupboard in Lewistown, PA.
Faculty Development Day
Faculty can enjoy a day of learning on Wednesday, May 9th from 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. with topics including Test Construction, Teaching Millennial Students, Promoting Civility and Team Building and Promoting Leadership and Accountability in Nursing Academia. In addition, Best Practices will be shared and the Educator of the Year will be announced. Registration will run through April 19, 2018 with limited seating so early registration is encouraged. Administrator's Conference
The conference scheduled for May 9-11 has been created for PN Program Administrators to network and learn about the evolving future of LPNs and PN Education. Preparing for CNEA Accreditation, the Pennsylvania Nurse Assistance Program and Early Program Success are the some topics being presentations scheduled for this year. In addition, a meeting with Dr. Sue Petula from the PA State Board of Nursing is scheduled to receive updates and answer questions from Administrators.
